One Airlifted To Hospital Following Multi-Vehicle Crash In Prince George's County (Developing)

One person was airlifted to a Maryland hospital after a multi-vehicle crash was reported in Prince George’s County on Monday afternoon.

Traffic was tied up at approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, April 10, when local and state police were called to a crash near the intersection of Marlboro Road and Pennsylvania Avenue, leading to a closure of Route 4 as police investigated.

According to state police, one person was flown to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment and evaluation, while a second was rushed by an ambulance to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.

No fatalities were reported as of 3 p.m. on Monday, April 10. No additional information as provided by police, though additional details are expected to be released.
